From the Premiere Elements Information FAQ http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1042180

•What version of Premiere Elements? Include the minor version number (e.g., Premiere Elements 9 with the 9.0.1 update).

•What operating system? This should include specific minor version numbers, like "Mac OSX v10.6.8"---not just "Mac".

•Have you installed any recent program or OS updates? (If not, you should. They fix a lot of problems.)

•If you are getting error message(s), what is the full text of the error message(s)?

•What were you doing when the problem occurred?

•What other software are you running?

•Tell us about your computer hardware. How much RAM is installed?  How much free space is on your system (C:) drive?

•Has this ever worked before?  If so, do you recall any changes you made to Premiere Elements, such as adding Plug-ins, brushes, etc.?  Did you make any changes to your system, such as updating hardware, printers or drivers; or installing/uninstalling any programs?

You have not given us information with which we can help you troubleshoot.

What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?

What is the problem with the program beyond "haven't been able to use since it was installed"? And, how does

"loggin is a pain, I am online, time is set correctly.." tie into all this?

There are lots of questions that we need answers for but if I do not know what program is involved and what the

details of the problem are, no where to go.

If you have time for the details, we will be glad for the opportunity to help you troubleshoot your Premiere Elements issue to

            a successful conclusion.

            Thank you.

Running  Winddows  7 home premium. 4 gig RAM, 1.4 terra bites left on hard drive, Adobe Photoshop elements 12 for windows, I click button to start program an screen comes up t hat tells me To gon online, or reset time, am online, and time correct, changed password. Used the trial version for a month, and it would lock up and quit after 30 minutes or so. Bought this on dvd from amazon, uninstalled trial version, and installed this.

              Thanks,

If you are using Photoshop Elements 12 Windows, you are in the wrong forum. You have posted in the Premiere Elements (video editing) Forum.

You need to repost your question in the Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum or wait for a moderator to move your thread from here to there.

                  http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop_elements

Just a note while your thread gets reposted on way or the other.....

                  a. If the program cannot be made to work for you, please watch closely the requirements for getting your money back from Amazon.

                  b. If the tryout will not work for you, it is risky to go out and purchase the product.

                  c. After you install Photoshop Elements 12 from the disc, can you open the Elements Organizer 12? Can you open to the Full Editor? What button are you pressing to get the message about resetting time and changing password? Have you already successfully signed into the program or is that what you are trying to do when you get the instructions about the time, etc.? Do you get any invalid serial number messages?

Here is one suggestion that you might try

                  a. Download the tryout installation files for Photoshop Elements 12 Windows from the following web site. And, then insert your purchased serial number during the installation when requested.

                  http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-12-direct-download-links-premiere.html

If you try this approach to solve the problem, it is very, very important that you read the web site's instructions (Note: Very Important Instructions), otherwise you will end up with Access Denied message.

The Photoshop Elements Forum users should be able to give you good advice on your Photoshop Elements 12 issue.
