Is there a way to disable the tooltip for a created control (symbol)

    lsneighbors

I have created a button via a symbol which has a label that is dynamically set so that I can create an onscreen keypad reusing the same base control.  The button after playing my mouse over effect shows a tooltip that has the value of my label ie "1" which I do not want to see any thoughts?

Not sure if this is the best way but it does work:

          1) I set the each of my keyboard buttons to a specific class id 'kbButton'

          2) In CompositionReady I added -> sym.$(".kpButton").attr('title','');  // seems as though the title property has already been used to generate the button so now the title value can be cleared out without further harm...

My original kbButton symbol used the Title property to set the dynamic label of my keyboard buttons and upon doing so created a tooltip to go with it.
