mac os x 10.9.2, illustrator cc ver. 17.0.0
This did not work. I downloaded the update file, I run the Adobe Patch Installer, then I get an error -
"Adobe Illustrator CC Update (version 17.1.0)
Another instance of deployment is already running. Error Code: U44M2P11"
I have activity monitor running and don't see another instance running... I can't be the only one with this issue.
I have fixed it! To anyone having this same issue:
Uninstall every adobe product you have, run the cleaner found here: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html
Restart your computer
Create a new admin account on your mac, restart comp again.
Login to new admin account, install creative cloud desktop, install the apps you want and boom it works.
Logout of admin account and sign into your regular account.
