If the serial number is registered in your Adobe Account then you will be able to make it work , Login to Adobe.Com , Click on the option My Products and Services and look for the serial number.

Yea when I check my adobe account. There is no products under my account. Not sure why it isnt in there. Maybe I never registered it? (Which i am pretty sure i did).

No getting anyone to chat support. Frusterating because it shows no record of me purchaing lightroom and downloading it.
I'm sure i had an email confirmaton, but I bet that got deleted as i purchased it over a year ago
Sad to say, not keeping a paper copy in a file is likely going to be a major problem... if your Adobe account does not show any information, it MAY be that Adobe will not have a copy of the serial number email that was sent to you
But... I don't think anyone here can help... you are going to have to keep trying Chat to find someone who has access to the Adobe server to see if they can find the information you need
