There is a very specific set of DNxHD codecs; various combinations of bitrate, H&V resolution and frame rate. Once you pick one of them, the confusion goes away.
but if you look at the info window, the 145 1080i codec is supposed to be 8 bit but shows up as Trillions of Colors (Translate: 10bit) as of now, i cant use the Avid codec in anything above 8bit mode, unless I translate it to Animation codec, then the problem goes away.. BTW problem is red, green and yellow noise in the hightlight areas anything that looks like it might be a little hot(overexposed)
What does a DNxHD 220 render look like? Do you get the same issues?
the problem is not in the render...but in the way the file presents when brought into After Effects. no problems rendering any of the codecs, its the way AE sees the file from the Avid. Avids are PC versions. my codecs are up to date.had this since forever..(at least 2011!)
