I am using a PDF form exported from FormsCentral aiming at recruiting participants for a study. In brief, potential participants received their PDF form from an email sent by me. Once completed, they push on the send « button » and I receive an email from FormsCentral that a new participant has been registered. Up to date, everything is working well.
One thing. Some participants forgot to write their name on the PDF form. So, I am wondering whether it is possible from FormsCentral to get their email adress. For me, this is the simplest way to communicate again with them. It will resolve the following challenge : some participants agree to participate in my study, but I don't know who !
Thanks of taking care of that email.
This is not possible. My suggestion would be to make the name and/or email field required. This will make the user unable to submit data without the name/email.
Hello Mr. Canepa,
Many thanks for your quick reply. It is appreciated.
Yes, I did your suggestion as a test on many of my friends. Indeed, the users are unable to submit data without the name/email. But, there is one thing. When the user forgot his or her name, for instance, the pop-up message from Adobe is hardly understandable in French. I looked on Google a way to modify the pop-up message, without succes unfortunately. I am wondering whether there is a way ?
Many thanks again.
You are wanting to modifiy "Entrez une valeur"? This is not possible. The warning text of any field cannot be modified.
