    TOC structure and hyperlink question.

    loveAndPeace

'Why do I have to click 2x to reach the destination within my ebook from my TOC in my ebook (exported epub) ?

      I created a TOC Style called TOC_Style.

I added 2 of my paragraph styles:

      TOC_FontLevel_1        (main topics)

TOC_FontLevel_2        (subtopics that i want to expand under main topics)

The above works.  Here is an example of the main topics:

      Sports

      Music

      Food

      Games

When I click on each of the above they expand like the following which include main topics and subtopics.

      Sports

          football

          soccer

          baseball

          basketball

      Music

          country

          classical

          rock

          rap

      Food

          italian

          indian

          chinese

          mexican

      Games

          settlers

          chess

          backgammon

          scrabble

I do not understand why the following happens.

      I click on 'football'.

It brings me to the physical 'Table of Contents' within the ebook which shows that 'football' is hyperlinked.

I click on 'football' and THEN it brings me to the location that I want to reach within the ebook.

I feel like I am clicking 2x to get to the location in my ebook that I want to get to.

(I consider these preset bookmarks that I want to include for people to shortcut around my ebook).

I have a feeling that my strategy in creating the TOC and the hyperlink destination and then the hyperlink is incorrect.

Can someone identify why I have to click 2x to get to the location.

I cannot find documentation within the Adobe sites for this explanation.

      thanks.
