What model of camcorder is this video coming from and what format and resolution is it?
What software did you use to get the video from your camcorder to your computer?
When you add your video clips to your timeline in Expert view, do you see a yellow orange line along the top of the timeline above the clips? This is an indication that your project settings do not match your video specs and that the program is not operating at its most efficient.
What file format are your audio files?
File .MTS with 48000 Hz stereo
You really will have give me all the information I asked for in order for me to help you, salvano.
My camcorder is a SONY HDR-CX250E - Format HD Quality PS 50p
No software to get the video to my computer but just my SD Card into the Imac and with Finder I drop the files in hard disk
the clips are file.mts type
and audio of file.mts are 48000Hz Stereo
My Project is PAL – AVCHD Full HD 1080i25
No Yellow line above the clips
Just above the timeline a little windows called in French “uniformisation” in which the names of clips are listed one after the other
I put 25 minutes of clip videos on the timeline (video1)
I can read the videos without problem.
If I use many video tracks sometime Pre12 crash with the diagnostic ( ../APC/Inc/AudioBuffer/AudioSubBuffer.h-105)
In this case, if I delete all the audio of the clips, there is no crash.
What other informations would you like??
