Yes I have the latest release, in fact it was immediately after the latest release when this started happening. Your second link doesn't apply here.

That is not the issue. Does not apply. Once signed in apps open fine. What happens here is that CC requires me to sign in when it first opens, ie every time I start my computer. I am waiting for a response from support but I know not to hold my breath for that.
