For full workflow compatibility you need ACR 8.3 running under Photoshop CC.
The ACR version numbering refers to camera support. But ACR 8.3 for Photoshop CS6 doesn't have the full new feature set of the CC version, and as a result ACR doesn't understand all the settings and parameters coming from Lightroom.
The bottom line in all this is that full version sync is always required for the Lightroom/ACR/Photoshop integrated pipeline at full functionality. It will work with an older Photoshop version, but with limitations.
You might try this patch and see if it works:

Camera raw 8.3 for cs6 does understand all the settings from lightroom 5, you just can't adjust some of them in the camera raw 8.3 version for cs6.
thank you for your reply but same thing hapened again, it didn't work.
my Ps Cs6 version is 220.127.116.11, camera raw plug in version is 18.104.22.168.
I've recently transfered the cs6 from my old mac desk top to my new mac book pro laptop, i've re entered the serial number and everything does seem to work as normal, apart from the masage comes up says that I need to update my camera raw to 8.3 version.
when i go to help_update in photoshop, it says: "your applications are all up-to-date as cheched: less than a minute ago." but my last time updated was two days ago.
what's missing? can you help?
You transferred it?
(that hardly ever works with adobe applications)
You mean you didn't run the photoshop cs6 installer to install photoshop cs6 on your new machine?
If your able to unistall photoshop cs6 by going to Utilities>Adobe Installers>Unistall Adobe Photoshop CS6, then do that and then reinstall photoshop cs6 and run the updater.
If not, then run the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and then reinstall photoshop cs6
