    How can I control all Movie Clips in same timelline

      Well I asked the same question yesterday and got some responses but none f them worked the way I needed. To explain really quickly I have six movie clips called cap1 cap2 cap3 cap4 cap5 cap6. Each movie clip is in scene1, cap1 goes 90 frames then cap2 starts and goes another 90 frames and so on. Well there is a button to turn the caps on and off I need a code to turn all the movie clips to alpha=0 and when the button is hit back to alpha=100. Here is a few codes I received b ut didnt work.

      welcome_mc._alpha = 0;
      res_mc._alpha = 0;
      info_mc._alpha = 0;
      veh_mc._alpha = 0;
      prot_mc._alpha = 0;
      terms_mc._alpha = 0;
      btn_mc.onRelease = function() {
      welcome_mc._alpha = 100;
      res_mc._alpha = 100;
      info_mc._alpha = 100;
      veh_mc._alpha = 100;
      prot_mc._alpha = 100;
      terms_mc._alpha = 100;
      }
      btnd_mc.onRelease = function() {
      welcome_mc._alpha = 0;
      res_mc._alpha = 0;
      info_mc._alpha = 0;
      veh_mc._alpha = 0;
      prot_mc._alpha = 0;
      terms_mc._alpha = 0;
      }

      for(obj in _root){
      if(typeof(_root[obj])=="movieclip"){
      _root[obj]._alpha=0;
      }
      }

      and

      welcome_mc._alpha = 0;
      res_mc._alpha = 0;
      info_mc._alpha = 0;
      veh_mc._alpha = 0;
      prot_mc._alpha = 0;
      terms_mc._alpha = 0;
      btn_mc.onRelease = function() {
      welcome_mc._alpha = 100;
      res_mc._alpha = 100;
      info_mc._alpha = 100;
      veh_mc._alpha = 100;
      prot_mc._alpha = 100;
      terms_mc._alpha = 100;
      }
      btnd_mc.onRelease = function() {
      welcome_mc._alpha = 0;
      res_mc._alpha = 0;
      info_mc._alpha = 0;
      veh_mc._alpha = 0;
      prot_mc._alpha = 0;
      terms_mc._alpha = 0;
      }

      There has to be a way in actionscript to say I want all these movies cap1-cap6 set to alpha=0 through out the whole timeline.
