I'm having trouble trying to figure how to create a mini TOC in a book. The content of the book is divided in 6 files.
Sample of how it looks likes
1) - Front cover (Pg 1)
2) - EN (Pg 2-20)
3) - SE (Pg 21-40)
4) - DE (Pg 41-60)
5) - FR (Pg 61-80)
6) - ES (Pg 81-100)
From file 2-6 they have their own TOC. Simple and it works, since each file have their own list.
I'm trying to create a small TOC on the front cover telling me each page numbers for each language file/chapter.
At the moment, I do it manually. But, maybe there is no simple solution....
The built-in TOC function doesn't do ranges, so you'd be doing some sort of intervention, anyway. For only five entries I think it would be as much, maybe more, work to set up another system as what you are doing now.
You could make it semi-automatic, I suppose, by adding a non-printing tag frame on the first page of each section (or use the first heading, if that's appropritate) to make the TOC picke up the first page. Then you only need to add the second numbers.
