Let me ask...were they previoulsy recognized--and this is a sudden event?
Welcome to the forum.
What version of PrPro are you using?
FLV Import support was dropped from PrPro recently - *think* it was with about the second update to CS6, but others can verify the exact time that it was removed.
Thanks for posting on Adobe forums.
If you are using Premiere Pro CC 7.1, Please check this KB
No, never. It's an output source from a streaming broadcast.
The latest CC version; updated just last week I believe.
It makes no sense to not have import for FLV.
Nope...doesn't work. Say's source compression type not supported.
VLC runs all of these files just fine.
The reason I ask is that I recently had some AVCHD files (.mts) suddenly not recognized in a project that I have been working with for several months--and only some of them, about 1/3rd were perfectly fine... I followed the forums with many people having similar--although, not quite exactly the same--sudden 'unsupported' issues. The general consensus was flushing the media cache dbase although I found one guy had copied the assets into another folder, and then grid importing/r-linking, and that worked...it worked for me too. However, when I tried to move them back in the original folder--they were 'unsupported' again. I do not know if any of this may help, or not.
