1. Re: DReamweaver CS3 tryout question
Newsgroup_User May 28, 2007 5:26 AM (in response to Soula-55)There is no way to alter the installation process, unfortunately.
And Bonjour is a way for DW to discover any online network servers for
VersionCue, even though the latter app doesn't work in CS3. Unfortunate....

Newsgroup_User May 28, 2007 5:32 AM (in response to Soula-55)"Adobe form"?
You cannot do what you are describing without using some server-scripting.
Perhaps you can find something useful by searching the web....

3. Re: DReamweaver CS3 tryout question
Soula-55 May 28, 2007 7:44 AM (in response to Soula-55)Thanks guys, I am new to Dreamweaver, so I am at the point of evaluating the software. It seems though that it is quite comprehensive, except that by principle I prefer custom installations.
I also checked the web for the Bonjour Service.... It puzzles me though... why the French term? -

I'm not sure that Bonjour sounds much better. I suspect the name
probably comes from the concept of protocol handshakes. When signing
onto an email server, a HELO message is sent. Yes, I know the spelling
looks odd, but the idea of HELO probably led to Bonjour. Just be glad
that it wasn't dreamed up by someone of Polish or Japanese ancestry. It
would have become the dziendobry or konnichiwa service. :-)
