Same problem here (OS X 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.10, Firefox 28)! Just switched back to Flash Player 12, which solves the problem in Firefox. Hope they 'll fix it as soon as possible!
Just tried it on 3 intel macs running 10.7.5 and all 3 failed both in safari and firefox and as above, works on Chrome. I'm going to uninstall and re-install 11.7 from their downloads archive
Ok, so I uninstalled 13 and reinstalled 11.7, which now works on Firefox, but Safari won't work saying:
"Adobe Flash Player" is out-of-date
The version of this plug-in on your computer does not include the latest security updates and is blocked. To continue using "Adobe Flash Player", download an update from Adobe.
and then it gives the link to go get 13 again. Catch 22!
so that worked: I downloaded and ran the following:
after running this, flash 11.7 is working on safari, firefox and chrome on an intel mac OSX 10.7.5
Most annoying that we need to do this!!! but at least my videos are working again.
Me too! Installed on my macbook (2007) running Lion 10.7.5 and nothing happened! Uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted etc. Fortunately found an earlier thread and have just uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Flash 12 as recommended. Now working on Opera - not checked other browsers. Bit of a snafu there huh!
Latest update from adobe: uninstall 13 and reinstall 12
