2. Re: What are the limitations regarding your free Partner Portal website?
Stu Wilkie Apr 15, 2014 8:18 AM (in response to Gaurav Sharma)Hi,
I've actually checked through those links before and it doesn't really address my concerns.
The closest I've found in the text is 'Your free Partner site should be used to host your web business, for the purposes of advertising your services and promoting the Business Catalyst Platform to new site clients. It cannot be used for other commercial ventures unrelated to your web design, web development or reseller business. Business Catalyst monitors free Partner sites and routinely disables the free Partner sites that do not adhere to these guidelines'.
Does this entitle me to make a Graphic Design website with a focus on web design?
Can I add on an extra menu link at the end to cover my Photography?
I was really looking for some sort of opinion, and not just another canned 'copy and paste' answer that I have been recieving for 2 days from the Adobe chat help. The support they offer through that system is the worst I've ever experienced.
Thanks.

Lynda Spangler Apr 15, 2014 9:10 AM (in response to Stu Wilkie)Try opening a BC support ticket with Accounts. The staff there has been very friendly when I have had account related issues. Also I would recommend mentioning that you have read those links and are looking for clarification.

Stu Wilkie Apr 15, 2014 9:31 AM (in response to Lynda Spangler)Hi Lynda, thanks for the reply.
Possibly a dumb question but, what's the best method to do such a thing? Not even sure where to start...
Thanks.

Gaurav Sharma Apr 15, 2014 9:35 AM (in response to Stu Wilkie)Hi Stu,
The support representative has already sent your case to accounts team, so I would suggest to wait and the accounts team will get back to you via email.

Stu Wilkie Apr 15, 2014 9:41 AM (in response to Gaurav Sharma)Hi,
Ok, thanks for your help, but at this point I've got support tickets coming out of my ears, so I'm not really sure what ticket is relating to what any more. Can someone just give me an opinion on the original issue?
Thanks anyway.

Ottographix Sep 4, 2014 1:08 PM (in response to Stu Wilkie)I might be able to shed some light on this issue...
I asked this question:
I am a graphic designer and part of my services are web design. I will be using Muse going forward.
Can I advertise all of my services on the free Partner website without breaching the contract?
These would include web design, print design, photography, cartography, etc.
response from Diana Herac (Adobe Business Catalyst Support)
Yes, you will be able to sell/promote other services too through your free Partner site, including Muse templates. The Free Partner site will be the equivalent of a webCommerce 5-users site plan from a technical perspective.
The idea is that one of the things you sell has to be Adobe BC hosting.
I think Adobe is ok with whatever you use the site for as long as you host your clients websites with them.
Hope that helps!
