    Getting audio file to start and stop when necessary




      I am making a flash game for class. The game is about 58 scenes long. Scene 1 is our menu screen. We have a background audio track that we want to play on loop only within the first scene. This scene is only 1 frame long with our background image layer, actionscript layer, and the audio in the last layer. The audio is within a movie clip. I have our audio set on stream and loop in the sync settings. However, it isn't playing at all within the scene. I believe it has something to do with the stop(); that we have in effect until someone clicks the new game button. We are new to flash and are quite frustrated. Any help would be appreciated.
