    Updating OAM file on web?

    GraphicsGeezer Level 1

I want to make a small change in my slideshow. When I publish to an OAM, shouldn't I just put the new OAM on the remote website in the same place as the old one, just as if I was updating a picture or another file?

Instead the file doesn't want to update. Do I have to upload a bunch of other files as well? I've tried uploading the edgeanimate_assets folder, but no luck with that.

      Any help appreciated

Is this a site created out os Muse or Dreamweaver?

Go into the 'Assets' folder and replace the old html and js files with the new ones.

Thanks for your help but that doesn't work, or doesn't work consistantly

The site was created in Dreamweaver.

I created a simple slideshow. I uploaded it and it worked fine. Then I decided to update it. I published the file agaion and it didn't update. I uploaded every related file I could find and it didnt update. I even made a new page and it didn't update. I made some minor text changes and the text changes did show so the browser was updating ok.

See attached pic of directory tree, if that's any help.

              From You animate,publish to 'web'

NOw copy the files in 'Publish->web' folder and replace the old files in 'assets' folder with these updated files from 'Publish->web' folder

Your Animate composition should be updated.
