Is it possible to embed certificate revocation info (CRL or OCSP response) in a digital signature in Acrobat Pro or/and Adobe Reader?
It means that after certificate expiration the signature will keep on being validated as Valid, when the document was signed?
You cannot get revocation information for an expired certificate. So, before the signing certificate expires you can use "Add Verification Information" command (right-click on the signature and it is in the drop-down list) in Acrobat X and later. Make sure that you set "Verification Time" to "The time at which signature was created" (signing time). This command does not work when signature verification is performed at the current time. Then you will be able to validate signature at the signing time in perpetuity.
