    Typekit Duplicate Font

I am trying to sync with a web version of Myriad Pro. I already have it in Openfont of TT, not sure if it matters. So there's a conflict with names. Is there any way to keep both of them or do I have to lose the one I already have. I have a client that uses it for print.

          Hi wsflynn3,

I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. If you would like to replace the version of the font on your computer with the one from Typekit, you will need to deactivate or uninstall the local version using your font management software.  It is not possible to sync the font from Typekit while the local one is activated; you'll continue to see an error in the Creative Cloud application.

More information on this, and instructions on how to deactivate the local font, are in the "A font with the same name is already installed" help page.

I hope that this helps; let me know if you have any other questions.  Best,
