1. Re: Does anyone know of a tutorial to make this kind of image?
Jacob Bugge Apr 19, 2014 3:14 AM (in response to Ben Stanbury)Ben,
Basically, you create the individual objects and edit/(re)size and fit them in/together by moving/rotating, changing back and forth between fitting and creating/editing/(re)sizing existing/new objects.
The good old way without distorting.
One term would be a ((in this case) horse shape) composition.

jvmonteiro Apr 19, 2014 12:35 PM (in response to Ben Stanbury)My approach to this kind of task would be to begin by making the countour of the horse's head into a clipping mask and then fill it with the objects (preferably as symbols since there are many repeating objects). The edges would always require some fine tuning which could be done manually.
The other possibility would be to make a seamless tile pattern with all the objects you wish to include and then simply fill the horse head with it.
