Im wondering if someone can help or point me in the right dirrection for some help. I have installed the trial version of photoshop before i look to buy into the creative cloud and have run into a problem. I have issues actually opening files or creating new files once i have closed photoshop once. The only solution for this i have acutally found requires me to have to restart my whole system if i need to then access photoshop, which seems a touch excessive.
This is the exact problem i am having at the moment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoWKJbIf3BI
And there was a whole other thread raised about this here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/6301368#6301368
But there was no answer, so i was hoping to try and get one. I have tried all of the options listed in the list and even have uninstalled Photoshop and reinstalled it a few times to be 100% sure along with clearing out my settings.
I have checked i have no virus's and this is a fresh install of windows 8.1 - Here are my specs:
i7 4770k OC'ed to 3.9GHz
Asus GTX 780
Samsung 840EVO SSD
Photoshop CC is the version im trialling.
Hope you can help me!
The last few times people have reported something like this, it was due to another application or utility messing with the OS and then messing up Photoshop.
Close other applications, and disable utilities until you figure out what on your system is causing Photoshop to malfunction.
Well this is now happening from cold starts, so nothing is acutally running to interfere, unless you mean to point fingers at my mouse and keyboard drivers lol. Because i cant live without my razer and steelseries drivers. do you have any other ideas on the cause?
It has to be something on your system, outside of Photoshop. Without knowing what is on your system, we can't narrow it down much more.
