Synced photographs in collections not showing on ipad

    catduyck Community Member

OK... after deleting all data in the Prefs of Lightroom 5.4 under LRmobile, it took five hours to sync it all back up. I did this till late last night and went to bed with everything showing both online and on ipad. Six collections with 2321 photographs.

This morning I want to start working on ipad and all the collections are gone again. Desktop says that 2.321 photo's ARE synced, but WHERE ARE THEY??????

It's the second day in a row that my collections do not show up on ipad. All my settings are OK, I worked the whole of last week without problems, loving mobile, but after yesterday and today I am wondering.

Is this a glitch at Adobe servers? Will this be a continuously problem that we never know if we will see our collections or not?

Lucky enough I am home today, so I can work on my desktop, but in ten days we will be traveling in the States and I am beginning to see that mobile might just not work like I hoped it would have...

And of course it's a long weekend and bank holiday here in UK which means I can't reach anybody at Adobe. The chat agents can't help me because they are only allowed to help with installation and download issues...

      CAN ANYONE HELP?????

Mobile worked the whole of last week, only started acting up yesterday... Do I really need to delete all data again and once more wait a couple of hours before being able to work? And will I in the morning again find that collections not show up on ipad???????

      Infuriating!

I called Adobe yesterday and got a casenumber 185406139. Hung on the phone for an hour. Signed out from everything, signed back in, and at a certain point I did see the syncing numbers in the left top corner of my LR5.4.

So it was syncing. So I said goodbye to the rep on the phone to only discover that after hours syncing, computer is talking to the cloud, all my collections are on my personal cloud page. I can see that in my browser when I load my LR cloudpage.

What is not happening is the talking between cloud and ipad. I have called again this morning and am waiting on a phonecall from Adobe. I think my ipad is not talking to the Adobe Cloud servers. Reinstalled LRMob again and now it is again saying in LRdesktop that it is syncing, but so far nothing to see on ipad... 582 pics to go. I am hoping that after finishing the sync it will work.

The fault must be between ipad and LRmob... Still hoping for a resolve as it worked great last week and I loved it totally!

I Am having the same problem.  Lightroom mobile is showing "267 images in collection" but only one image is showing up on the iPad. Desktop says all images are synced. Have tried logging out and logging back in but nothing. Definitely appears to be a glitch with LR mobile and iPads which is really annoying..

Hi Nikita_Pere, have you already updated Lr Desktop to 5.6? We fixed a buch of sync issues within this version.

When you are already on 5.6...could you please send me a LR Desktop diagnostig log  - best as a private message with a downloadable dropbox link.

You can trigger the log via LR Desktop preferences -> Lightroom Mobile and when you hold down the alt key you will notice a generate diagnostic log button

                Thanks,

                Guido
