Premiere Bug: Video playing too fast

I wanted to start working on video after very very long time again, but a nasty old premiere bug found me: importing 30fps 1080 MJPG video... That video is playing too fast (about 2-3x faster than it should, audio is correct of course). I found out that it's a known bug in old versions of premiere (bad interpretation of MJPG files), so I downloaded latest Elements to check it out in trial version before buying it. Guess what, it's still there and i can't do anything about it. Any clues? Of course I tried the obvious things like "interpret footage" to force 30fps. Actually no matter what random value did i make it, from 20 to 60, it was always the same...
