Trevor.Dennis Apr 21, 2014 3:52 AM (in response to nigelinspain)The diagonal lines show that it is being 'Placed' which means that at that stage, it is a Smart Object. Free Transform is limited with SOs, so you need to Rasterise the layer to have full FT functionality.

c.pfaffenbichler Apr 21, 2014 3:53 AM (in response to nigelinspain)Do the Keyboars Shortcut work (cmd-click-and-dragging a handle for Distort, so on Windows probably ctrl)?
Could you please post a screenshot prior to invoking Transform with the Layers Panel visible?

6. Re: distort and perspective are greyed out in photoshop cs2
nigelinspain Apr 21, 2014 4:13 AM (in response to nigelinspain)Ok, I think I have sorted it. If I place the image into a new layer and then Rastorize the layer I can then go to Edit - Transform and the Distort and Perspective are now usable.
Phew - that´s got that problem sorted out, now if I could only sort out the economy!
