RoboHelp 10 generated code with unknown property name

    howlandster77 Community Member

When I compiled my help project, using the WebHelp option, RoboHelp 10 generated code with unknow property name, which results in garbled text on one of the pages. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem, or why it happened?

      Thanks!

Tell us more about this "unknown property name". Is that in an error message you are seeing?

            Hi there

I was thinking that perhaps screen captures would be helpful here. We need at least two.

First one should show the topic that appears to be garbled.

Second one should show perhaps the first twenty lines of the HTML Code of that topic.

Please reply using the browser and use the little camera icon to share the pics.

Here are the screens shots of the generated text, with the error diplayed in firbug, with the HTML.

So it is not Rh or the browser telling you Unknown Property Name but another tool you didn't mention.

It looks like you have imported a Word document and brought in the unwanted stuff that Word creates. See Importing on my site and you will get cleaner code.

Alternatively, you could clean up the CSS but make a back up first.
