Hi all, I am still struggling with the same problem that started on friday afternoon. I had been happily fiddling and syncing between LR desktop and LRmob. I changed something with smart previews and all of a sudden my ipad stopped talking to LRmob on the web. I am now at the stage where I can change pics in my collections on desktop, and those changes will sync to my LRmob cloud webaddress, but they will not go down to iPad. Nor will changes that I did on ipad sync to the cloud.
After a lot of reinstalling and logging out and logging back in, restarting both computer and ipad, I'm now convinced that the problem must be between ipad and adobe servers where my collections live. They do not come off the cloud to ipad.
Does anybody have a clue? Is Adobe acutally monitoring this forum? I desperately want to talk to an adobe person who does not sit in India with a script in hand, because after 3 phonecalls to India it is now certain that my problem is not in the scripts, thus can not be solved by simple script follwowing... On top of it all I also have a lot of problems understanding what they are saying because some of them have a truly horrid accent. I dare not ask for a "british or american" speaking person because that is so totally rude. I do not want to be rude but I want a solution...
I now have done all the most logical things to do, including reinstall. I have one collection on ipad with 5 photographs, not syncing to computer of course, and a couple of collections on the cloud that will not come down to ipad.
I am all out of ideas, I even called apple support to check whether the fault could be with my ipad but that's not the case. We did reset network settings, with no further movement...
iPhoto is still syncing between desktop and ipad, so it is not that computer and ipad don't see each other, it's just that ipad does not communicate with adobe cloud...
What is going on and who has other suggestions???? Leaving for a trip to the States in 10 days and it would be nice to resume the pleasant working way with LRmobile... It was nice while it worked for those four days before it broke...
