How to add a new font?

This must be easy, but I can't find it in the FW help - basically downloaded a font onto my mac, installed it, it appears in the font book, and appears OK in the list of available fonts in Apple's Pages program - but how do I get it into FW?

      Cheers.

Fireworks uses the system fonts. If it doesn't appear, you may have too
many installed. Older versions had a limitation of 600 fonts. I don't
know if that has been changed in FW CS3.

            Thanks Linda -

I had another rummage and saw the bit about system fonts.

So I copied the font into mac/system/library/fonts folder, and it works fine - although I'm still not sure exactly how it works, as there are only about 30 fonts in there, whereas there are absolutely loads in FW already?

              Possibly. :-)
