This is getting a bit frustrating. I've paid for a year of InDesign, two hours in I cannot open the program. I get the following series of errors "Font Capture: InDesign.exe - Entry Point Not Found
GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll." (this error comes up twice)
"Cannot load the DYNAMICDOCUMENTS.RPLN plug-in. It is dependent on the TRANSPARENCY.RPLN plug-in, which failed to load. Please check documentation for the TRANSPARENCY.RPLN plug-in."
"Cannot load the SVG EXPOR.APLN plug-in. It is dependent on the TRANSPARENCY.RPLN plug-in, which failed to load. Please check documentation for the TRANSPARENCY.RPLN plug-in."
I was not able to download InDesign CC because of my OS (Windows XP Service Pack 2) so I downloaded the CS6 version. Why would Adobe charge me and allow me to download something that doesn't include the requisite plug ins? Please advise
As you can see, CS6 requires XP SP3 minimum. I believe you can cancel your subscription, and perhaps get a refund, or you can upgrade your OS and reinstall.
Sorry for the frustration on my end! I assumed that the SP3 was for optimal use. I've got SP3 and am now able to open the program. Thank you for your help.
