Can you post a link to where you get this problem?
What is your installed Flash Player version: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html ?
What is the full and exact message you are getting? (A screenshot is OK.)
Thank you for this, it made me think! I accessed BBC News through the
Windows 8.1 Apps and the Flash Player DOES NOT work from there. However I
right clicked on the mouse which allowed me to open the window in my Web
Browser (Google Chrome) and the Flash Player works from there.
So I have overcome the problem to allow me to use the Flash Player but it
does NOT answer the question on why it does not work from Windows 8.1 App
Is that an app that you downloaded from BBC? Does it perhaps require the Flash Player plugin? If so, install it from http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe
Thank you for the reply. The App is pre-loaded on Windows 8.1 as a News App
which takes you to various News pages, eg Sky News and BBC News. By
following this App Adobe Flash does not work. A problem with Windows 8.1
methinks and not Adobe. The Adobe Flash Player works when the News
Page ieBBC News opens in a separate Browser Window, so NOT a fault of
the BBC News
Many thanks, now up to Microsoft Windows to correct!
