Are you talking about changing the way the clips are displayed on the timeline?
You do that simply by clicking the little filmstrip icon on the track header, to the left of the timeline.

As SG has pointed to...for the video track, click on the filmstrip icon (Video Track Display Style) to the left of the name of the video track. It is a toggle type icon. Each time you click on it, it will go to a different Video Track Display Style. Basically
1. All thumbnails across the video clip
2. Only one thumbnail at the beginning of the clip and only one thumbnail at the end of the clip
3. Only one thumbnail at the beginning of the clip
4. No thumbnails, just a black line
if you keep toggling you will recycle the choices.
For the Audio Track Display Style (see speaker icon to the left of the name of the audio track, you only have two choices in the toggle.
1. Wave Form
2. Black line
The reason I posted is to point out that, depending on where you are in the toggle process, simply clicking on the filmstrip may not next display the Style with all the thumbnails across the video clip. You may have to toggle a little more to get to where you want to get.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I knew it was there someplace.
Thanks for all the help you give everybody.
Cheers and Peace! Phil
