Failed Installation

I am on a Mac OS X 10.9.2.  When I try to donwload Flash, I get an error message that asks me to close Safari.  Even after I close the browser, I get the same error message.  Hitting "retry" does nothing.  Help!

Download the Offline installer:  Flash Player 13.0.0.201 Plug-in (Mac OS X)

Go to: Mac HD/Applications/Utilities>Activity Monitor

ANYTHING that has Safari in the name, or Dashboard, or MenuTab.... terminate it.

Go to your Downloads folder (or wherever you saved the linked file to) and run the installer.
