Newcastle\ Sep 29, 2014 9:40 AM (in response to Jim Wilde)I spent 60+ minutes in the run-around Adobe phone support but refused to give up until I got my question answered.
Q: If I upgrade to Lr5 will I be able to adjust the Menu Fonts so it will work with UHD/4k monitors?
A: Not yet, (Lr 5,6) there is a known bug (by Lr development) but as of now this is no schedule as to when it is to be fixed.
That's the just of what I found out.
Jim, Have you actually adjusted the font size?

5. Re: When will Lightroom be supporting UHD/4K Displays (Win.)
Newcastle\ Sep 29, 2014 12:05 PM (in response to Jim Wilde)That came straight from Adobe Lightroom tech support (India). I asked because in Lr4 the font options do nothing. He (I have his name at home), the tech guy, actually went over to the development team to ask them. Or at least that was what he told me. I have also seen a lot of issues on the web about UHD monitors.
From what you are saying, and showing, it sounds like it does work. I guess I can always trial the software first.
I'll reply and post my findings.
Thanks

bhousto90 Sep 29, 2014 5:40 PM (in response to Newcastle\)LR5.6 font size adjustment works fine with a 3200X1800 laptop running Win8.1 set at the 200% size.
FYI Same font support was added to Photoshop CC in the June 2014 version (hidden under experimental features in preferences).
