When i overlay an image on another and create a mask to paint away bits of the top image i dont want thus showing the desired portion of the below image i am now all of a sudden getting a ghosting of the top image still which means the top image will not mask away completely even though i have my brush set to 100%. super fustrating as i have been doing this for years now today all of a sudden this ghost issue has cropt up . my adobe is up to date so thats not the issue.
Maybe you paint with an off color.
Hit D to reset fore- and background color.
Does this change the effect?
Otherwise could you please post a screenshot with the pertinent Panels visible?
Or could you have changed the Density setting in the Properties Panel?
Appreciate your responce c.pfaffenbichler, your off colour paint sugestion was spot on the colour was so close to looking black it never occured to me. thanks again
