Problem installing flash player onto mac

Hey,

Need your help! When installing flashplayer onto macbook it says I need to close safari before finishing the installation. I do this and it still does not work! Any suggestions?

Applications/Utilities>Activity Monitor

Terminate ANYTHING with Safari in the name, as well as ALL Dashboard processes and if you see it, "MenuTab".
