    Photoshop not answering

I am lost, tried everything, re installed twice, made some space on my hard drive, changed preference...Photoshop cannot work on any document, even a light one at 15Mo. I open it ans it stops working, is blocked.

When I go under task management, it indicates that Photoshop is not answering, using almost 2000Mo, seem a lot for a 200Mo picture, no?

      Can anyone help me?

Supply pertinent information for quicker answers

The more information you supply about your situation, the better equipped other community members will be to answer. Consider including the following in your question:

          • Adobe product and version number
          • Operating system and version number
          • The full text of any error message(s)
          • What you were doing when the problem occurred
          • Screenshots of the problem
          • Computer hardware, such as CPU; GPU; amount of RAM; etc.

Without proper system info nobody can say anything. you have not even tol us what version of PS. That aside, memory usage of the actual work data bears no direct relation to file size on disk, so it's irrelevant (assuming your system is halfway reasonable).
