      Today I downloaded Adobe Extension Manager CS6 for my Dreamweaver CS6 on my windows 7 desktop.

       

      I'm trying to install the extension from WebStunning.com titled "Dreamweaver Flash Image Gallery" I found it by searching "slideshow" in the DW Adobe Exchange Panel.

       

      I've deleted DW and reinstalled and updated it afterwards but I keep getting the same message when it fails to install.

       

      In the DW Adobe Exchange Panel I get the message "Installation failed with error code: 1. The zxp installer has been copied to your documents folder."

       

      In the Adobe Extension Manager program tells me that the Insertbar.xml is unable to be updated.

       

      I called adobe today and fought with them for two hours on this subject only to be told "We don't offer support for that becasue its third-party.".

          I had the same problem today. Other extensions work and install and are appended to the insertbar.xml file. However, the file name is capitalised in the error message, but not on the file system. This usually does not matter. I have emailed the supplier and am awaiting a reply.
