If you want to retain the overset text, create a new page, click In the outbox of the primary frame and drag to create a new frame on the new page. Now a new text frame is created with all the overset text populated in it.
Whereas you can remove the overset text by, Placing the cursor into the text box, go to story editor(short cut ctrl+Y), and then remove all the overset text.
I thnk we need more explantion about what pages are deleted and the master pages they were based on, as well as information about wheter you use Smart Text reflow, have master text frames of any sort, and how the text was threaded originally.
Thanks Peter for the Suggestion. Here is what we are working with.
1. Smart Text Reflow - it was turned on. I turned it off and I got the same results.
2. No threading on the pages themselves but some of the text maybe threaded on the master pages (there is a Play like logo that is connected to another part of
the same text box in a diagonal line going across the bottom right corner of the text box. What does that mean? Threaded?)
The page (Page 10) which is deleted has a master applied to it (a two page paster spread) . The following two pages have the same master applied to them.
Does that answer your questions?
Not really. I'd like to see some screen shots, but the embed image button seems to be non-functional in the new forum...
