I didn't even know they made a 32-bit version of Windows 8.1!
That said, yes, the program should work just fine on a 32-bit OS. You just won't be able to take full advantage of the program's advanced 64-bit operation -- so, with a heavy workload or while editing a lot of high-def video, you may find it performing rather sluggishly.
But that's going to be true of almost anything you run at that operating system, since Windows 8 has a tendency to take greater advantage of RAM anyway, and a 32-bit operating system is limited to 4 gigs of RAM.
I have a laptop that has Win8.1 64-bit, AMD A6-5200. The editor works
sluggishly on it, I even had a hard time using it, that's why I asked if
the program works on 32-bit. Is Intel core faster that AMD?
Well, it depends on the processor.
I use this benchmark chart to measure processor to processor. Generally a processor that scores a 6000 or so should run the program well.
The AMD A6 5200 is on this list of mid-range processors, where it scores a 2900.
What processor does your Windows 8 computer have? What benchmark score does it rate?
