    Invisible InDesign CS6 interface

    Orpheus327

Double clicking on an InDesign document from the desktop yields no visible document open. InDesign launches and opens, but there is no visible signs of this. No palettes, no document window, just the main menu choices, File, Edit, etc, and they’re all black, responsive to rollovers and none are grayed out.

The “Window" menu shows the double-clicked document's name as checked and at the bottom of the list but nothing is visible and choosing it changes nothing.

Menu choices can be changed, i.e., "Display Performance" under “View”, but again, nothing changes onscreen.
