Perhaps you should tell us what kind of computer you are using, what version of operating system, what kind of files, and exactly which version of Premiere Pro CC (from the About window).

I can't drag any files at all to the project window, but Ive also got premiere 6 installed and there I have no problem dragging files

Steven L. Gotz May 17, 2014 8:45 PM (in response to CptHatteras)In that case you might need to delete your preferences and have Premiere Pro create the files again. The program may merely be confused.
The easy way is to hold down the Alt key as you start Premiere Pro CC until you see the splash screen.
