We are evaluating the strategic decision to choose AIR for a new range of crossplatform products. AIR fits every aspect of our requirements, except for AGALv1 lilmitations, in particular floating ploint textures, opcodes/registers numbers, and conditionals support.
If it is safe to expect for Stage3d "standard" profile on mobile later (even in mid/long range), we would be comforted on the decision to choose AIR.
