I'm a newbie. I'm using actionscript 3.0 and I have a
separate package .as file with all my action script code. I have 2
buttons called myBtn1 and myBtn2 in my .fla file whose base class
are both flash.display.SimpleButton.
The event listener for myBtn1 (buttonClickHandler) always
fires correctly. But, the eventHandler for myBtn2
(textClickHandler) only fires once and only if myBtn2 is the first
button to be clicked. (I realize those event handlers and switch
statements look rather silly with only one item each, but I removed

When I change this
to buttonClickHandler, I get the SAME thing. myBtn1 always
works fine, but myBtn2 only works the first time it is clicked AND
only if it is the first thing clicked. Can anyone help me? I feel
like I'm missing something really easy and obvious, but I don't
know what it is.
