1. Re: Emailing received 1 page PDFs no longer works
~graffiti May 7, 2014 11:12 AM (in response to Neuman and Marla)So you're saying that you use File>Send file from within Reader, it opens up an email with the PDF attached, you click send but do not receive the email?

~graffiti May 7, 2014 11:15 AM (in response to Neuman and Marla)If that is the case, what happens when you open a new email in Outlook and attach a pdf file?

5. Re: Emailing received 1 page PDFs no longer works
~graffiti May 7, 2014 11:29 AM (in response to Neuman and Marla)Ok. Instead of Reader, I would look into it being either an Outlook issue, an ISP issue or possibly check to see if it's going into your spam folder. If the same thing happens when you simply attach the file, it's not a Reader issue.

Neuman and Marla May 7, 2014 11:59 AM (in response to ~graffiti)I have tried these things to no avail. You have been very helpful. Is there a phone number I could call to speak to someone from Adobe who can trouble shoot me though the issue?

7. Re: Emailing received 1 page PDFs no longer works
~graffiti May 7, 2014 1:06 PM (in response to Neuman and Marla)Not for the free Reader no but it doesn't matter. This is an email issue and they wouldn't support that.
Since you are using Outlook, I would suggest starting in an Outlook support forum. That may or may not be it but at least it's a place to start.
If I really had to guess, I would say it could be related to your ISP. Maybe they're blocking PDF's. Just out of curiousity you say the pdf's are not large but, what size are they? And by size I mean file size not how many pages they have.

pwillener May 8, 2014 1:47 AM (in response to Neuman and Marla)Are you actually using Outlook, or Outlook.com ?
Either way, sending e-documents as email attachments is never a good idea; they may get lost (your case!), misdirected, or damaged. And email always has some size limits.
Far better is to use a file sharing service (Adobe Cloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, ...), then send the shared download link via email.

pwillener May 8, 2014 1:49 AM (in response to Neuman and Marla)P.S. from Adobe Reader you can also use file sharing using File | Share Files Using SendNow Online.
