I’m thinking about buying a monitor for my new editing room. I can’t afford high-end monitor, but I still would like to be able to do some grading for broadcast if needed. So far I’ve narrowed my choice to 3 monitors, but I’m not sure witch one would be the best.
I’m looking for some feedback if you used any of those. Feel free to suggest any other monitor around 3000$.
Apart from the integrated vector scope, is there a real difference in color rendering quality compared with the other JVC?
Can’t go in the CM series for now, too expensive. Can this monitor still be use for grading?
Definitely the FSI if your grading though the top JVC looks interesting with the low latency option. Have to keep that in mind for Audio guys. Make sure you update the firmware if you get the FSI.
Thank you for your help Eric.
So you think the FSI BM230, even if not in the CM series, is still suitable for grading ?
Yes I would. The specs and color space profiles are ideal for grading. Also the input options give you the ability to connect it to multiple output devices.
