What version of Premiere Elements are you working with and on what computer operating system is it running?
Are you in Premiere Pro?
Please supply that basic information and more if you are in the right Adobe user to user forum, and then we will decide what next.
hello sorry for taking so long to reply i have attached a picture of my
system profile. I'm using version 11 of premiere version 6.0 on cs6.
Just to be certain that I am reading the info provided correctly, you are using Premiere Pro CS6, and not Premiere Elements - is that correct?
That error does show in Premiere Pro (do not recall seeing it in PrE though), when one has uninstalled, or removed a necessary CODEC, or the necessary CODEC is no longer available.
If you can confirm that you ARE using Premiere Pro CS6, I can easily Move your post to that very active and helpful forum. Just want to verify the program version, before I do so.
Yes I'm using the full cs6 master suite
Thanks for the clarification on your program. You have posted in the Premiere Elements Forum instead of the Premiere Pro forum where the responders there should be able to work through the issue with you.
My Premiere Pro information is mainly from what I have read. And, the following might be of specific interest to you. Sounds like your issue with a workaround solution.
