1. Re: Can I downloaded the Photoshop CC trial for a second time ?
twenty_one May 8, 2014 11:34 AM (in response to bitm07)Normally not, but I think they reset the CC trial a while ago because of some new features. Try it and see.
And actually when you think about it this is a logical side effect of the CC model. It makes sense to reset from time to time to give people a chance to try new features (that previously would have been in different versions).

Resetting ever time a major Photoshop CC update is made available would be logical. Like it was when a new version of CS was released

I downloaded the Photoshop CC trial last summer but decided not to subscribe. Is it possible to download another trial if there is a feature in a future update that I would like to try before subscribing ?. It's been suggested that you can providing 30 days have elapsed since the previous trial. Is this true ?.
Yes, there is a pretty easy way to do it, but you need a bit of extra software.
If you set up a VM (WMware, or VirtualBox) and install your OS on there and snapshot it….then install Adobe CC and whatever apps you want. You can use it through the deadline.
Virtual Box here: https://www.virtualbox.org
If you need more time, just revert the VM (Virtual Machine) back to that snapshot you took before installing CC….and then, re-install CC and your 30 days starts over again.
I'm not saying this is something to do in perpetuity, but if you run into a situation where your evaluation is interrupted by some events, you can do this to really have time to get a feel for everything and truly evaluate the software to see if it is right for you, and what all components you wish to use and buy into.
HTH,
CC

I'd be surprised if this is the case. There are thousands of CS6 users out there who were underwhelmed when CC was released. Offering them the chance to download the latest trial would be a logical step in persuading them to switch CC

gener7 May 9, 2014 10:50 AM (in response to bitm07)Yes you can download the Photoshop CC Trial installer.
Download New Adobe CC Trials: Direct Links (no Assistant/Manager) | ProDesignTools
Please follow the instructions carefully or the download links won't work.

Thank for the replies
I'm going to attempt to download the trial version of CC 2014, after it's officially announced on June 18
I will keep you informed as to whether I was successful
