2. Re: Firefox add on Acrobat Create PDF 1.2
mjburns May 14, 2014 1:23 PM (in response to Rave)To be clear, this is not about Adobe Reader or viewing PDF files in Firefox. It is about one click creating a PDF file from a web page in Firefox with Adobe Acrobat X Pro using Adobe Acrobat - Create PDF 1.2 add-on that Acrobat X Pro installed in Firefox. This has worked up until the latest Firefox 29. I got an update to Adobe Acrobat X Pro this morning and really hoped that along with security updates it would fix the Firefox add-on. Does Adobe have plans to address this or is it gone forever. I could use IE 11, but much prefer Firefox.

Rave May 19, 2014 5:15 AM (in response to mjburns)Hi mjburns,
Please refer the KB for pdfmaker capable browser versions : http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/compatible-web-browsers-pdfmaker-applications.html
The Adobe Reader 10.1.5 and later plug-in don't function in the Mozilla Firefox 19 and later.

mjburns May 18, 2014 9:54 AM (in response to Rave)Under Firefox for Acrobat X Pro list says "√ (10.1.3) Note: Support dropped for all versions of Firefox earlier than 10.0." It started working for me at Firefox 10 and has worked up through Firefox 28. Is broken now for Firefox 29. Mozilla want all users current. Mozilla plans semi-silent updates to tug laggards onto the newest Firefox - Computerworld I would be very happy if Adobe just keep it working for the current version of Firefox.

6. Re: Firefox add on Acrobat Create PDF 1.2
mjburns May 19, 2014 11:02 AM (in response to Rave)I submitted it as a bug (was working then stopped), even though Firefox broke it.
What are my reasonable expectations that Adobe will fix a feature in Acrobat X Pro? Firefox tell me that Adobe Create PDF 2.0 works with Firefox 29.0.1 and Acrobat XI Pro.

laslaw01 Oct 28, 2014 6:08 PM (in response to mjburns)mjbuns - if you're as frustrated as I am with Adobe's non-responsiveness with its products and its total lack of tech support, we should seriously think about a class action lawsuit. Adobe's current strategy is to freeze out its customers for stand-alone products and move them to the more lucrative (and even more expensive) 'cloud services.'
