I have a business card in a pdf format.
I have the Creative Could subscription, with the full suite of programs.
In Acrobat, the file is crystal clear.
When I create a business card size document in InDesign, and place the file - the quality is terrible.
How can I retain the quality, but be able to print this in the manner I need (10 to a page).
By default, ID shows you a low-resolution preview. Try View > Display Performance > High Quality Display.
You can set this as the default in your prefs.
What you are seeing is just a low-res screen representation. If the file is clear in Acrobat, it will be clear when printed from InDesign. Try View > Display Performance > High Quality Display to see a clearer version of your file.
Thanks so much. Silly me
