Does Creative Cloud Sync Settings Slow Down Open & Closing Photoshop CC?

I have mentioned my crap Internet connection on this forum, more times than Dag has talked about his wonderful new monitor, but not as many time as Station has got into trouble, or we have had threads complaining about being unable to use Photoshop on a digital watch. So here's the thing... I suddenly started noticing that Photoshop was not opening and closing as fast as it used to. In fact closing was taking at least five seconds Well, I have just realised that this started happening after switched on Sync Settings after we had a thread about it on the forum. Switching off Sync Settings has restored my two seconds to open, and instant close, so it looks like there's a cost to using it if you have a crap internet connection.

I think having the sync settings on puts your preferences in the cloud, so that if you change your setting on another computer, it can either alert you to the fact that your setting are different or allow you to update your settings. So unless you are changing your preferences on several different computers and need to update your settings, there is no point to having this feature on.
